Volunteer at NYHP

Every year for the past 8 years, I have arrived at NYHP with a silly costume, silly activities and a prayer that God will be at work in the lives of the young people, and in my life too. Every year for the past 8 years God has blown my expectations out of the water.
— Anna Armstrong, Holiday Volunteer

NYHP could not run without its leaders. They shape the whole experience for the young people and are responsible for everything happening with enthusiasm and care.

We ask that all our volunteers are Christian and can sign up to the Urban Saints statement of faith. We accept people from a range of church backgrounds and want to create a diverse and welcoming team.

Benefits
There are few material benefits to coming as a leader. If possible we ask them to pay the full holiday amount (please still apply if this will be a problem.) as this helps keep the holiday affordable for the young people.

We also ask that you are involved the whole time and we know that can be somewhat tiring!

HOWEVER..

That doesn't mean you shouldn't apply. NYHP has always been a place where youth and adults from all walks of life come together to put Christ at the centre to begin the New Year. Our volunteers return year after year and its hard to explain why without experiencing it for yourself.
