NEW YEARS HOUSE PARTY

Every New Year for the past 35 years (minus the whole pandemic!) we've spent a week with a bunch of young people from all over the UK and created a large, exciting, family. We eat together, throw water-balloons at each other and pray together. All in the wonderful Urban Saints house on the Isle of Wight.

Each year it seems more apparent that young people are trying to work out where they fit in, trying to identify who they are and what that means to them. Some feel they have no place to belong, nowhere they are unconditionally accepted. This isn't how it should be.

Although its only 6 days NYHP aims to be a place where everyone is treasured. We try and build a community, the likes of which some will never have experienced; to demonstrate God's love in a way that reflects his glory.

We know we have succeeded when the same young people come back to NYHP year after year, building friendships and support that spans their entire time at secondary school.

We are unashamedly a Christian holiday and so we will be talking about God and our belief in him shapes everything we do.

This isn’t scary, we recognise that everyone that comes to NYHP has a unique perspective and is comfortable with different things. So though we are excited about sharing our faith together there is no peer pressure here. You come as you are and we will welcome you with open arms.

Talking about God isn't the only thing that goes on. There are games; silly games, mad games, both indoors and out. There's dorm challenges and a heated swimming pool. There's a bonfire on New Years eve on the beach and a customary fancy dress party.

Every single year we have a fantastic week.

We would love for you to join us.
